I will not go in the context of organizations, but rather to speak of our self-knowledge and awareness of what we are and do as professionals. In principle, what we choose as a profession and do today, was based on our choices, be it for influences of our parents (who plays an important role) or friends and / or experiences throughout life. There are some drivers also influence these choices as: make money, achieve status, make a difference and follow our passions.

Much of the responsibility for the happiness and / or job satisfaction is directly related to ourselves.This means, if we are aware of these our choices and we are and what we are doing is bringing us pleasure and fulfillment and aligned with our purpose, it’s a good way to be happy at work and as a result, the satisfaction in it. Understand our priorities can help us develop a personal vision of what a truly meaningful work.

Very important that throughout our careers can be reflecting and being aware of all that surrounds us, it may help us so that we are up to date and aware of our needs as a human being and as a professional.
